The Art of Focus event took place on 12 July at the Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator in London. Sponsored by Sage, the event was designed to help women professionals and those in business learn strategies to increase their focus, productivity and success.
Jenny hosted a panel of experts on the topic including Jillian Kowalchuk; Founder and CEO of Safe & the City, Simon Alexander Ong; Executive Coach & Business Strategist and Huda Thakur; Neuroscience-based Leadership Coach. The panel talked about their own experiences and shared their strategies and tips for increasing your focus, being even more productive and making the most of your time.
Top tips shared at the event included:
Jillian: “The Art of focus is being attuned to what’s right and really making sure that that compass is on point.
Huda: “It’s about knowing what your values are and living according to your values, being authentic and having self-compassion, not being too hard on yourself.”
Simon: “A quick tip from me is planning your day the night before. During the day our willpower often depletes the more decisions we have to make so if we can make some of those decisions the day before it can make the day a lot easier.”
