Celebratory News and a Call for Continued Action

I’m absolutely delighted and honoured to share some fantastic news! My book, “Equality vs Equity: Tackling Issues of Race in the Workplace,” has received a Highly Commended recognition at the prestigious Business Book Awards in the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality category!
This is an incredibly proud moment for me, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support I’ve received along the way.
A Shoutout to My Amazing Team
First and foremost, a massive thank you to my publisher, Emerald Publishing. From commissioning the book to nominating it for this award, your belief in this project has been unwavering. This recognition is as much yours as it is mine.
Special thanks to Iram Satti who sparked and supported the book from its inception.
The Journey and Its Impact
This journey began with a simple desire: to ignite conversations about race in the workplace and empower individuals and organisations to create meaningful change. This award is a testament that these conversations are happening and that the message of equity is resonating.
I’m humbled by the recognition from the judges and grateful for their time and consideration. The Business Book Awards ceremony was a spectacular evening celebrating the power of words and ideas.
To the Readers and Change-Makers
To everyone who has supported this book – from readers to reviewers, and to all those who continue to strive for a more equitable workplace – thank you from the bottom of my heart. We’re in this together!
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
I’m passionate about sharing the concepts and practical steps from “Equality vs. Equity.” If you’d like me to speak about these topics for your organization in the UK or beyond, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Let’s continue to champion equity, challenge biases, and build workplaces where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.
