According to UK Government statistics 76% of working age people (16 to 64 year olds) in England, Scotland and Wales were employed in 2022.
This means that there may be five separate and distinct generations working together for the first time in recorded history. This diverse mix of employees span multiple generations and have been commonly categorised as:
- Gen Z (1995-2012)
- Millennial (1980-1994)
- Generation X (1965-1979)
- Baby Boomers (1946-1964)
- Silent Generation (1927-1945)
From the seasoned veterans who have been with the company for decades to the fresh-faced Gen-Z’s just entering the workforce, each generation brings with them unique perspectives, experiences, and expectations.
While this diversity can be a great asset, it can also lead to misunderstandings and conflicts if not properly managed. In this webinar featuring executive coaches Geetha Ramachandran, Janice Taylor, Joseph Ogbonna and Marie Loney, from the Diverse Executive Coach Directory, we will explore the importance of engaging generational differences and provide practical tips on how to bridge the gap for a harmonious workplace.
Whether you are a manager trying to foster collaboration or an employee seeking to better understand your colleagues, this webinar will help you navigate the complexities of generational diversity and create a more inclusive and productive work environment.
