Leadership consultancy founded by Jenny Garrett OBE brings a human and equity lens to how the UK prepares the next generation for AI-changed work
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, 1st October 2026: Jenny Garrett Global (JGG), the UK leadership development consultancy founded by Jenny Garrett OBE, has joined UKAI, the trade association representing more than 250 AI businesses across the UK. JGG will also contribute to UKAI’s Future Talent & AI working group.
UKAI champions UK businesses that develop, use and sell AI, and gives them a voice with government as the sector grows. JGG joins as organisations everywhere are asking the same question: how do we adopt AI in a way that works for our people, not just our productivity figures?
Through the Future Talent & AI working group, JGG will focus on a growing concern for employers: as AI takes on tasks once given to junior staff, how do organisations keep bringing new talent in and develop the leaders of tomorrow? This builds on JGG’s research with senior leaders, published in the white paper AI & The Two-Tier Workforce.
JGG works across three areas: AI-Ready Leadership, Inclusive Leadership and Entrepreneurial Leadership. It helps leaders make sure that as technology accelerates, opportunity is shared fairly and people at every level can adapt and thrive.
Jenny Garrett OBE, Founder and CEO of Jenny Garrett Global, said:
“AI is being decided in boardrooms right now, and the choices leaders make will shape who gets ahead and who gets left behind. Potential is everywhere, but opportunity is not. I’m delighted to join UKAI, and particularly to contribute to the Future Talent & AI working group. If AI removes the first rung of the ladder, we need to build a new one, and quickly.”
Jenny Garrett and Leah-Sunshine, co-authors of AI for Equity (Emerald, 27 October 2026), will explore how organisations can bring the next generation into AI-changed work in a forthcoming episode of UKAI’s Business of AI podcast.
Jenny and Leah-Sunshine will also be sharing these ideas on stage this autumn, including at the AI and Sensemaking conference and a series of launch events for AI for Equity.
